Melbourne Street, North Adelaide

Melbourne Street is located in North Adelaide, a mostly residential area with specialty shops, cafes, pubs and accommodation.  Colonel William Light designed North Adelaide as an extension to the city of Adelaide, so it is also surrounded by parklands.  Many of the buildings are heritage listed so this area is a good representation of mid to late 1800’s South Australian architecture.
